Supreme Court and Court of Appeals candidates to speak at Carson City Democratic tele-luncheon

Judicial candidates Ozzie Fumo and Bonnie Bulla will be the featured speakers at Monday's virtual Democratic luncheon. Fumo, Nevada State Assemblyman for District 21 in Las Vegas, is running for Nevada Supreme Court, Seat D. Bulla, who was appointed to Department 3 of the Nevada Court of Appeals by Governor Steve Sisolak in February 2019, is running to retain that seat.

Bonnie Bulla, who was appointed to Department 3 of the Nevada Court of Appeals by Governor Steve Sisolak in February 2019, and is running to retain that seat in the November general election, will be the featured speaker at Monday's virtual Democratic luncheon. She is opposed by Susan Bush, a Las Vegas attorney in private practice.

Applicants sought for Nevada Court of Appeals judicial opening

CARSON CITY — The Nevada Commission on Judicial Selection has begun accepting applications for the soon to be open judicial position on the Nevada Court of Appeals. The opening is the result of Chief Judge Abbi Silver’s election on Nov. 6 to the Nevada Supreme Court. She will officially take office on Jan. 7, 2019.

Nevada Commission on Judicial Selection Accepting Applications for Open Judicial District Court Seats

The Nevada Commission on Judicial Selection (Commission) announced that it will accept applications for three open judicial positions until 5 p.m. January 28, 2015. The vacancies are the result of the appointments of Judges Michael P. Gibbons, Abbi Silver, and Jerome T. Tao to the Nevada Court of Appeals creating two vacancies in the Eighth and one in the Ninth Judicial District Courts.
