The Ormsby House is now in escrow and the new owner has some interesting plans for what to do with Carson City's historic building.

The Stewart Father's Day Powwow Committee in partnership with the Nevada Indian Commission is hosting the 2016 Stewart Father's Day Powwow at the former Stewart Indian School in Carson City, which got underway Friday and continues through Saturday and Sunday.
Alumni to be honored at Stewart Father's Day Powwow

June 14, 2013 - 7:00pm Former students of the historic Stewart Indian School will be honored at a special recognition ceremony as part of the 2013 Stewart Father’s Day Powwow in Carson City June 14-16.
Hosted in partnership with the Nevada Indian Commission and the Stewart Alumni, the annual powwow includes quality Native American arts and crafts vendors and is also a time for alumni, former employees, families and friends to gather at the former campus.
