June 14, 2012 (All day) Muscle Powered will be hosting a talk by Boris Mordkovich and Anna Mostovetsky who have been transecting the country riding their electric bicycles.
The Trans-American Electric Bike Tour is a 4,000 mile journey from New York to San Francisco. The entire trip is self-supported, just two electric bicycles, and all the equipment and gear needed for the two-month journey. The purpose of the trip is to promote bicycle commuting, recreational cycling, and alternative transportation. www.transamericanelectricbiketour.com
