My dog, Barrett, has been missing for a month and he was seen being picked up by a tan SUV with Nevada plates. We then got a tip suggesting that he may be in the Carson City area.

Carson City investigators report child luring incident Monday, urge parents to talk to kids

On Monday at approximately 11:30 a.m. a young female was walking in the area of Koontz and Hillview in south Carson City. While walking in the area, the young female was approached by an unknown male in a copper colored Ford Ranger pickup.

Submitted by Jeff Munson on Wed, 02/11/2015 - 11:05amA 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Wednesday on a felony charge of battery with a deadly weapon after allegedly breaking into a home and striking a man with a metal bat, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Jose Segovia was arrested at 1:52 a.m. in the 1000 block of North Saliman Road. He also faces charges of gross misdemeanor domestic battery, violation of a protective order, petit larceny and violation of alternative sentencing. He has been arrested four times in a year on domestic battery charges with one conviction.
