March 7, 2019 - 5:30pm An introduction to advanced concepts of Microsoft Excel, part of the Microsoft Office family of software programs. This two-day, six-hour course is designed for individuals with at least intermediate skills in Excel, or who have completed the beginner and intermediate courses in this series. The class will explore key program terminology, and focus on the formula and data ribbons. At the end of the course, students will be able to demonstrate how to perform complex calculations using logical formulas. This course is the third in a series of three Microsoft Excel courses.

February 21, 2019 - 5:30pm An introduction to beginning concepts of Microsoft Excel, part of the Microsoft Office family of software programs. This three-hour course is meant for beginners who have little to no experience using Excel. The class will explore key program terminology, and introduce students to the home ribbon. At the end of the course, students will be able to demonstrate how to create a table and perform basic mathematics computations.

Community education classes are open to anyone in the Northern Nevada community and are designed to accommodate a variety of schedules and budgets.

Six students graduated May 25 from the Professional Institute of Technology and Accounting (PITA), a Las Vegas-based vocational school that recently opened its newest campus in Carson City.
