Do you like to make and create? Join us for fun STEAM activities each month! This month learn how to build a rubber band guitar! We'll talk about frequency, pitch, and music as a whole.

Supplies Needed:

At least 4 rubber bands
Glue
Packing tape
Empty tissue box
Scissors
Two large craft sticks
Empty paper towel tube

Heading into the weekend, there’s a bevy of events around the Carson City region. The Dayton Chamber’s 27th annual “Making A Difference” Golf Tournament arrives Friday. Carson City Kiwanis is hosting its seventh annual Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Day on Saturday with several activities for all to enjoy. The Carson City Library is continuing to offer a busy spring with a selection of online events taking place in April in honor of National Poetry Month, Earth Day’s 50th anniversary, STEAM and more.

Carson Middle School is hosting a Family Engagement Night on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Join us for food and fun. Activities will include Lunar Landers, Tumblewings, Makers Club, Lego Robotics, Scholastic Book Fair, archery, cupcake decorating and much more. Hot dogs will be served! We hope to see you there.
