Carson City, NV–The national small business movement, Independent We Stand, announced the quarterfinalists of the 2015 Independent We Stand Independent Small Business of the Year Award. Nearly 22,000 votes were cast for 315 nominees during the nominations phase. For the second year in a row, Artsy Fartsy Art Gallery has been nominated for this award and made it to the quarter-final stage of voting.

Join Artsy Fartsy Art Gallery LLC as we celebrate our 3rd year in business with a fundraiser for The American Cancer Society for prostate cancer research.

More than 50 northern Nevada artists will take part in this one-of-a-kind chair show, entitled "Sit On This."

A portion of all chair sales will go directly to The American Cancer Society. A raffle table will be available with all proceeds to benefit prostate cancer research. Carson City Confections will be on hand with their amazing cupcakes. Many surprises throughout the day.

Local art gallery Artsy Fartsy is getting in on the Bike Month festivities with a display of tricycle art. Created by northern Nevada artists, these trikes will be for sale starting Saturday, May 4th from 12-5PM during the downtown Wine Walk.
