90-Year-Old Throws First Pitch at Reno Aces Game

What started as another day at the ballpark turned into a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Reno resident Marvin Dockter, the recipient of an Ageless Dream from Summit Estates Senior Living and Memory Care in Reno, where he lives.

Pioneer High School offers the following athletic activities such as swimming, lifeguard certification, weightlifting, basketball, cross country skiing, downhill skiing at Mt. Rose, hiking, rock climbing at Rock Sport Reno, and several events through Project Discovery.

Opening ceremonies for the Carson City Little League were held Saturday morning at Governor's Field, marking the official start to the 2017 Little League baseball season.

March 24, 2012 (All day) Carson City Little League has expaned our age groups this year to include 13-18 year olds who want to come play competative baseball.

Ages 13-18 come out and play for Carson City Little League in the Junior/Senior/Big League Program. Sign-ups will be March 21 from 6-8 pm with tryouts on March 24 from 9-2. All sign ups and try-outs will be at Governors Field. For more information contact Coach Craig "Bear" Stevens at 315-6984 or Coach Bob Stevens at 690-3298. Come out and play even if you have never played before!!!

LIttle League Baseball Registration

January 28, 2012 (All day) Carson City Little League will be accepting registrations for the 2012 season on Saturday, January 28th from 8 am to noon and Saturday, February 4th from 8 am to noon. We will be at the indoor facility located in the Northeast corner of Governors field (500 East Evalyn Drive).
The league is for boys and girls ages 4 1/2 (By April 30th) to 16.
We are extending our ages from last year to allow 13-16 year olds to play in our leage. We have also added our new 50/70 program to allow for a transition from the smaller little league fields to the larger Senior league fields.
