Just ask clients at the United Latino Community (ULC) in Carson City, where learning a language is a shared experience and a common thread that binds people together.

Classes are on Wednesdays starting September 16, from 5:00 until 6:15 pm at United Latino Community, 1711 N. Roop Street (corner of Roop and Beverly). Learn pronunciation, basic conversation, and cultural tips. The first class will review the alphabet, subject pronouns, and the verbs ser and estar. Donations are welcome. Roop Street, corner of Roop and Beverly (use the back door after 5:00 p.m.). We will learn to tell time, practice simple verbs such as querer (to want) and tener (to have) and maybe work on direct object pronouns. Donations are welcome.
