Tahoe Treasures Tour in July hosted by American Association of University Women

The American Association of University Women Tahoe-Nevada affiliate presents its bi-annual Tahoe Treasures Tour of spectacular Incline Village homes, on Saturday, July 14, 2018, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This self-guided tour showcases four of Incline’s most unique and beautiful properties, including a home and garden with a magically eclectic art collection, a stunning contemporary home with “a river running through it,” the North Lake Tahoe Demonstration Garden, which fosters mountain gardening and the extraordinary home of a talented painter, sculptor and print maker.

Do you like shopping, Carson City? Check out the Vintage Fair at Du Sorrella downtown. The last Farmers Market of the season is at Third and Curry, so get your fix of fresh fruits, veggies, honey and more before the leaves fall. Wild Horse Children’s Theater is hosting a huge Warehouse and Multi-family sale; if you need a Halloween costume, you won’t want to miss it. The Teixeira Pavilion at Mills Park is where you’ll find the Autumn Earth Spirit Faire with vendors, workshops, and more.

Carson City Historical Society Historic Home and Garden Tour

The Carson City Historical Society invites you to tour 13 historic properties and listen to Former Supervisor Robin Williamson give a short presentation about historic preservation. Tickets are 10 dollars and children under 12 are free and will be available at the Foreman Roberts home and at other locations to be determined later. Contact Gary at 885-7643 for information.
