Wungnema House at Mills Park in Carson City open to the public on Sunday

Stop by the east side of Mills Park on Sunday for the Parks Foundation’s monthly open house at the Wungnema House, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.

The Wungnema House is the charming stone cottage located on the east side of Mills Park across from Carson High. It was built by a family of skilled Hopi stonemasons shortly after WWII and served as the family’s home until the early 1970s. There is no admission fee, and all are welcome.
