NV Energy Puts Temporary Savings Above the Safety Of Its Customers and Their Homes (opinion)

To All Northern Nevada Residents, Effective July 1, 2020 NV Energy raised the fees for a customer disconnect/reconnect. From the original application, it is evident that these fees were increased in order to offset the $5 million dollar revenue decrease requested. Now, NV Energy seeks to fulfill an additional $120 million revenue decrease. While this reduction in revenue benefits residential customers in the short-term, the recent request continues to penalize Northern Nevadans from making needed repairs to their homes electrical systems.

"Zero Contact" Homes Services

Northern Nevada Residents, At The Happy Outlet, we are implementing the "Zero Contact" service call. And, we are cutting the consultation fee in half! The safety and wellness of our clients, team members, and your families is our top priority.

In accordance with the CDC and other government guidelines, we have immediately taken the following preventive measures to help reduce your risk of exposure to COVID-19.

• The Happy Outlet is implementing increased cleaning regimes of our office and service vehicles, to keep our team members healthy in order to serve you.

Be A Carrier...of a Positive Attitude!

Allow me to share a little positivity with Northern Nevada this morning.

We are a residential electrical service and maintenance company, and considered essential services. Yesterday, our HAPPYness representative, Jessica, had a client tell her how much he appreciated the normality our company is maintaining despite everything going on.

Our entire community has an awesome opportunity to shine through this and help others. Look for joy in the little things. They all add up to bigger things.

Making Strangers Smile - One Cookie at a Time

Event Date:
March 20, 2019 (All day)

My son and I just had the most amazing day! A friendly serviceman from The Happy Outlet just gave my son and I these delicious sugar cookies. When we asked why, they said just to see us smile, no strings attached. Well we certainly did! The serviceman told us that March 20th was International Happiness Day. When we got home I looked it up and sure enough, this is actually a UN-sanctioned day. I think this is awesome that a local company is taking the time to do something wonderful for our community. With so much hate and division, everyone needs this now more than ever!
