Stop by Veteran's Hall located at Second and Curry Street in Carson City from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and pick up a few items in which you choose the price you want to pay, with the proceeds to benefit Carson City area veterans.

Phil might speak for his neck of the woods, where he bats about .390, but I would keep an eye on our critters here to determine how much more Winter we have left.

Donations for the sale are also needed. Items can be taken to the Eagles Lodge, Wednesday, April 30 and Thursday, May 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Auxiliary members will be there to accept your donations. NO LARGE APPLIANCES, COMPUTERS, OR EXERCISE EQUIPMENT PLEASE!

This night is designed for ladies wanting to take in a unique Christmas and holiday shopping experience, while at the same time helping feed local children in the community.
