August 16, 2019 - 10:00am Members of the Nevada Gourd Society have a wonderful display of gourd art in the Carson City Library. The local group is known as the Great Basin Gourd Patch meet monthly in the Johnson Lane area to share and learn techniques used on gourds. The exhibit in the library will be on display until the end of August. You don’t want to miss all this art!

September 24, 2017 - 9:00am On September 22, 23 and 24 we are offering 19 gourd classes for a hands-on learning experience. Gourds are a wonderful canvas for painting, wood burning, carving and weaving. Our experienced teachers will guide and teach students techniques used to work with the dyes, tools and of course gourds.
