The winner of the 2011 Governor’s Arts Award for Excellent in the Arts, Warner takes a fresh approach in her current exhibition, “Second Nature,” which is featured at the Nevada Arts Council’s OXS Gallery in Carson City from Sept. 25 through Nov. 10.

Shake off the back-to-work blues at the Fox Brewpub – it’s karaoke night. Monday Night Football is back in full force. Tonight, watch the Saints battle the Giants at home on ESPN, or at any number of our local casinos or taverns.

While it was a personal accomplishment for the runner, it was also a victory for her mother, who died from pancreatic cancer in 2014.
