First Day of the Annual Farmer’s Market at Mills Park in Carson City

Shoppers perused the fresh fruits and vegetables at the first farmers’ market of the season at the Pony Express Pavilion in Mills Park on Wednesday.

More than 20 vendors were on hand offering fresh produce, baked goods, crafts and flowers. For the first time in the market’s 16-year history, there are also vendors selling fresh meat and prepared foods like lumpias, wraps and sandwiches.

Third and Curry Street Farmers Market

The Saturday morning 3rd & Curry Street Farmers Market is a local growers’ market, featuring fresh produce from Nevada Certified Farmers Market growers. The Market also offers a variety of house and garden plants and numerous handmade arts and crafts. The Market runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
