Featured speaker at Monday's Democratic tele-luncheon will be Carson High School librarian Ananda Campbell, who will describe how she and other district librarians, in collaboration with city and state library staffs, transitioned Carson City's students to remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He is a senior at Carson High School, and his last year is, to say the least, unconventional. Adults have had their say, so how about a chat with this popular young man as he sports a 1980s hairstyle called a mullet in which the hair is short on the sides and long at the front and back.

Patt Quinn-Davis, Carson High School Language Arts teacher and adviser of the school newspaper and Carneta yearbook, is retiring. For Quinn-Davis, the publications staff became a part of her family every year and even more so when students stayed with the program throughout their high school careers.
