This year the Carson Nugget in Carson City will celebrate its 63rd annual Community Thanksgiving Feast on Thursday, Nov. 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. All are welcome to join us in the Grand Ballroom. All guests will receive a free 8-inch turkey sandwich, stuffing, cranberry sauce and more.

Celebrating Nevada Day in safety and style, the successful statewide socially distanced pop-up performances concluded in Reno and Carson City with multiple stops. The activation, designed to inspire the community to download and adopt the COVID Trace contact tracing app, resulted in five times the usual daily downloads indicating the community is motivated to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

CARSON CITY — V&T Railway is celebrating Halloween with family-friendly and spooky railbike rides. The Carson City SDA Church is participating in the "Feed NV and the Sierra" Drive-Through Food Drive Thursday, Sept. 24, from 9 a.m. to noon at 405 E. College Parkway, Carson City.
