Carson Valley Sertoma nets 7,344 warm clothing items during annual winter coat drive

The Carson Valley Sertoma Club is pleased to report another successful Coat Drive season with 7,344 total warm clothing items, including 3,052 coats, sweaters, and jackets, collected and distributed. We are in awe of the generosity of the Carson City and Douglas County communities.

January 14, 2022 (All day) On Jan. 14, 2022, the Carson Valley Sertoma Club hosted Sgt. Bernadette Smith as a guest speaker representing the Douglas County Sheriff's Department’s Good Neighbor Program.

January 31, 2022 (All day) These are the final days of CV Sertoma's annual coat drive. You still have time to clear out your closets and bring your new or gently used coats, jackets, sweaters, blankets, hats, mittens and gloves, and scarves -- and new socks -- to one of our blue barrel locations in Douglas County and Carson City.
WalMart in Gardnerville helps with grant supporting CV Sertoma’s annual coat drive

Carson Valley Sertomans Eileen Behr and Delores Clarkson went shopping for new coats using the $2,000 Walmart Foundation grant. This was a local grant provided by the local Gardnerville Walmart.
