Lake Tahoe's Northstar California will open this winter’s first halfpipe to skiers and riders this coming Friday, Jan. 9, resort officials announced Tuesday.

Located on Pipeline trail and accessible via Vista Express, the halfpipe is a popular and highly-anticipated feature among Northstar’s terrain park users.
