775 Offroad and Recovery, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting responsible offroading and providing recovery services to those in need, has made a significant impact on the offroad community in northern and central Nevada.

February 8, 2023 - 7:00am Carson City Ward 4 Supervisor Lisa Schuette will begin holding a monthly Coffee with Lisa on Wednesday, February 8, from 7 to 8 am at the Cracker Box restaurant.
Everyone is welcome to come and discuss issues they care about.
Schuette will be holding the coffee gatherings on the second Wednesday of each month.

June 26, 2022 (All day) Jordan Van Worth is a Carson City native just about to compete for the esteemed title of Miss Nevada! Jordan recently graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with both her Master’s in Quantitative Finance and her JD in Corporate Law, upon her graduation she was recruited a multitude of universities to continue her studies in finance as a PhD candidate.
Carson City's Polka Dot Powerhouse announces Community Outreach Program selections

The Carson City Chapter of PolkaDot Powerhouse named Canine Rehabilitation Center and Cat Sanctuary as their Community Outreach Program for this quarter, along with other community projects including: a park clean up day, and a fundraiser for Xquisite.
