CASI's March 26 Understanding Your Pet's Behavior presentation to be postponed

We plan on bringing Kelley back April 30 for a seminar titled "Why Does My Dog Do That" and continue the series with a different topic each month through October.

Dance at Carson City Senior Center this Friday with Live Music by 'The Grumpy Old Men'

Tickets are $10 are person available at the door. Live music provided by The Grumpy Old Men. Enjoy social ballroom dancing and line dancing and have fun "doing your own" style. Participants are encouraged to bring a store-purchased snack to share.

Nevada Rural Counties RSVP, multiple agencies to host Sept. 8 Veterans Resource Fair

Veterans and their caregivers will be provided with information on services and programs provided by area non-profits, advisory groups, government agencies, and the private sector. The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

CASI Bingo

That means if the CASI ball prize is not won during the regular play a special blackout bingo game will be held at the end of the day and the winner will receive the prize. (In case of a tie it will be split) Cost for the special game will be $1 per sheet. If you haven’t played CASI bingo yet a $1000 prize is a great reason to give it a try.
Games are at 911 Beverly Drive, the Carson City Senior Citizens Center.
Carson City table tennis club to compete in senior games

She found friendship and recreation, playing some pool here and there. But about six years ago, she found her real niche, playing table tennis.

Seattle woman picked for Carson City Senior Center director job

A panel consisting of Senior Center Advisory Board members, and City Staff recently conducted interviews for the position. Mrs. Warner was selected after careful review of the applicants’ work experience and education.
Carson City Sheriff to speak on phone scams

PPI Presents Polter-Heist: A Hauntingly Hilarious Murder Mystery

For Friday and Saturday showings the doors open at 5:45, and the one champagne brunch showing on Feb. 22 will begin at 12:45pm. Tickets are $35- $38 and must be bought in advance.

Designer purse fundraiser Saturday to benefit Carson City Senior Center meal program
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Fri, 06/14/2013 - 10:18amIt's going to be a very busy Saturday in Carson City with so much to do for every age group. An event women will love is the Designer Purse Sale sponsored by the Carson City Senior Citizens Center between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Women can never have enough purses and this will be a way to have some incredible purses at a fraction
of the retail cost. All funds raised help provide meals for our local senior citizens. The Senior Center has served nearly 92,000 meals in their FY 2011-2012.
The senior center is located at 911 Beverly Drive.

Performance dates are Sept. 13, 14 and 15 at the Carson City Community Center’s Bob Boldrick Theater. This year’s theme is “Around the World in 80 Minutes” and is directed by Carla Wilson.

Carson City celebrates $3.6 million senior housing development with ceremony

Building will begin June 14 on a $3.6 million, 42-unit senior apartment complex in Carson City, designed to help close the gap in a shortage of affordable retirement housing here.
