Carson City Parks & Recreation Easy Walk to Historical East Side Part II

Meet in front of the Laxalt Building at 401 N. Carson Street, Carson City. Easy Walk Program: Water and closed-toed shoes required.

Walks of 1 to 2 miles in length with none or negligible elevation gain, and frequently paved or smooth paths. The walks will usually be of approximately one hour in duration. If it rains or snows, meet at the Multi-Purpose Athletic Center (MAC) at 1860 Russell Way.

Muscle Powered's August Trash Mob is this Saturday

Muscle Powered, the local non-profit organization that advocates for a walkable and bikeable Carson City, is hosting a Trash Mob Saturday morning, August 15 along the Lone Mountain trail located north of the cemetery in Carson City.

Meet in the parking lot at 5366 Snyder Ave.
A different walk every week on Tuesdays. Walks are easy paced, on level ground, of approximately 1 hour duration, and of no cost to participants. All skill levels are welcome and leader is willing to work with participants to develop an individual walking program. Participants are responsible for their own transportation and leader may request physician’s release if needed.
