February 11, 2024 (All day) The spotlight shone brightly on Wild Horse Children’s Theater Junior Theater Festival Performance Troupe as they clinched top honors at the Junior Theater Festival West. This glittering event, held in Sacramento is a dedicated celebration of outstanding student-driven musical programs from across the globe.
Monday is Carson City Parks and Recreation Awards Recognition

November 12, 2012 - 3:00pm The Foundation for the Betterment of Carson City Parks and Recreation will be presenting awards to its 2012 recipients of its Special Recognition Awards in a brief ceremony on Monday, Nov. 7, at 3:00 p.m. at the monument at the entrance to the Pony Express Pavilion in Mills Park. The public is invited to attend this free event.
The awards will be presented in the following categories:
Volunteer of the Years - Greg Davis - True leader in youth sports in general and YSA and youth soccer specifically.
