March 14, 2020 (All day) The Carson Valley LGBTQ+ and Friends Social is proud to announce the Business Sponsorship of Sassafras Eclectic Food Joint as well as Community Sponsors – PFAG (United States’ first and largest organization uniting parents, families, and allies with people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer – LGBTQ+) and Sassabration (Carson Valley’s Annual Pride Celebration).

June 18, 2016 (All day) The Stewart Father's Day Powwow Committee in partnership with the Nevada Indian Commission is hosting the 2016 Stewart Father's Day Powwow at the former Stewart Indian School in Carson City, June 17-19, 2016. The Stewart Indian School was the only off-reservation boarding school in Nevada for American Indian students over a 90-year span.
