5.3 magnitude earthquake shakes Nevada
According to the US Geological Survey a 5.3 magnitude earthquake occurred early Friday morning around 1:13 a.m.
The large quake struck 33 kilometers southeast of Mina, Nevada at a depth of 4.8 kilometers.
It was originally reported as a 5.5 earthquake but since then has been downgraded to a 5.3.
