The League of Women Voters of Northern Nevada, in partnership with Sierra Nevada Forums and AAUW Capital (NV) Branch, will present four free election forums featuring candidates and ballot question information on October 7, 9, 14, and 16 beginning at 6 pm each night at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, 511 W. The forums are co-sponsored by the Nevada Appeal. The free forums will feature state and local candidates and experts on the questions that will appear on the Nov. 5 ballot. The forums will be conducted with a live audience.
Candidates and presenters will respond to questions posed by the moderator. Audience members may ask questions in writing. The forums will be available for later viewing on the Nevada Appeal’s YouTube page and through links on organizations’ websites, Facebook pages or other social media.
