Rebuilding Together is hosting two rebuild days in Carson City
Rebuilding Together Northern Nevada, a nonprofit with a vision of a safe home and community for everyone announced that four community projects will be hosted in September and October, including two in Carson City.
Partnerships with Wells Fargo, Lowe’s, Charter/Spectrum and Berkshire Hathaway Home Services will provide funding and will bring together approximately 100 volunteers to serve neighbors and communities in need.
One homeowner in Sparks, Nev., will enjoy outdoor beautification projects sponsored by Wells Fargo with employees volunteering for a day of service. Berkshire Hathaway Home Services volunteers will be assisting a homeowner in Carson City.
In October, Lowe’s is providing financial support and employee manpower to paint a home in Carson City. And finally, a larger project will be sponsored by Charter/Spectrum with their employees volunteering to revitalize The Eddy House. Re)Build projects like these are embraced by community leaders and national corporate partners as a way of bringing immediate, large-scale impact to communities across the country.
“We are still a very young organization. We so appreciate the growing partnerships we are developing with Wells Fargo, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, Charter/Spectrum and Lowe’s” says Katie Pace, Executive Director. “There are thousands of homes in our community that need such services,” Pace noted. “With more volunteers and support we can go a long way toward realizing our vision of safe homes for everyone in our community.”
