Harvest Moon vintage train ride happening Friday and Saturday in Virginia City
Time to get moonstruck! Grab your gang and join us on a 90 minute train ride in Virginia City this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 9-10, the evenings of the September Harvest Moon.
You’ll embark on a twilight journey past historic mining sites and a background of the majestic Sierra Mountains to American Flat. Enjoy live music, a little Comstock history, and the possible sighting of wild horses and other wildlife. The rides begin at 5:30 p.m.
Enjoy delicious appetizers and beverages accompanied by live music provided by Kat Heart and Jenna Talbott. Train tickets include two beverages (your choice of white/red wine or light/dark beer, la Croix or root beer), plus delicious appetizers.
The same weekend, Virginia City celebrates the 63rd annual International Camel and Ostrich Races. So make it a perfect day, catch the races and join Kat and Jenna for a magical train ride to celebrate the rising of the full harvest moon.
