ICYM: Law firm donates 480 backpacks for Carson City students in need
Personal Injury Attorneys with the Richard Harris Law Firm donated a total of 480 backpacks filled with school supplies to students in need among 10 different schools in Carson City last week.
The donation was part of the firm’s ongoing commitment to support local students and ensure they have the tools they need to succeed in the 2024-25 school year. The goal of the initiative was to alleviate some of the financial burdens families in the Carson City community may face and to ensure every student has the opportunity to start the school year on the right foot.
“Every child deserves the chance to succeed, regardless of their circumstances,” said Hannah Etchison, McKinney-Vento & Foster Care liaison for the Carson City School District. “These backpacks will make a positive impact on the lives of students in our community and help them feel prepared and confident as they put their focus on school. We are incredibly thankful to the Richard Harris Law Firm for their continued support and dedication to our students' success.”
