“Ah 5-6-7-8!” Wild Horse Stage Company is thrilled to present one of the longest running musicals in Broadway history, “A Chorus Line.” With more than 6,000 Broadway performances during a 25-year run, “A Chorus Line” won nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Director and Best Choreographer, as well as the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

2022 Fuji Park Flat Track dirt bike races return to Carson City this Friday and Saturday

Returning to Carson City this weekend, dozens of dirt bikes will roar and race at the Fuji Park Flat Track dirt bike races this Friday and Saturday, August 26-27 at Fuji Park.

The dirt bike extravaganza features some of the top professional flat track racers on the West Coast. This year also will feature a first responders, fireman and policeman challenge on Friday.

These were the words spoken by Los Angeles City Water Department’s chief William Mulholland, upon completion of his engineering marvel, the LA Aqueduct. This program examines closely, the construction, intrigue, and the long reaching effects of the Los Angeles Aqueduct, which diverts almost the entire Owens River in California’s Eastern Sierra Nevada region to the City of Angels, over 300 miles away.

The Tahoe Regional Planning Agency and Mountain Area Preservation reached a settlement agreement this week over a lawsuit brought by MAP against affordable housing policies approved by the TRPA Governing Board in December 2023.
