Nashville Social Club is a southern-themed, musical gem for Carson City
After nearly-a-year's long process of renovation, the Nashville Social Club is officially open for business.
The building has held several restaurants throughout its history, but many have found it difficult to use the full space the location provides. However, that is not the case with the new Nashville Social Club. Inside, patrons will find dining areas, stages, multiple bars, a living-room styled sunning room, a concert hall, a VIP area and much more.
The theme of the restaurant is Nashville, and owners John Procaccini and Kitty McKay have thrown themselves in wholeheartedly, creating a modern, upscale southern atmosphere with a undercurrent of rock-and-roll history woven throughout. In fact, diners can walk through a hallway of memorabilia, take a rock-n-roll photo at the selfie station, or head over to the Swan Music Hall to take in a show.
Patrons can also view a Nashville-themed mural completed by local artist Tony Jackson owner of Rice Street Tattoo.
“The enthusiasm, support and excitement of our community has been so, so uplifting," McKay told Carson City Chamber Director Ronni Hannaman during the recent ribbon cutting at the restaurant. "For the last 12 months we’ve poured our hearts into every atom of this place and the way our food, vibe and hospitality has been received during our soft opening was beyond our dreams. We are thrilled and honored to be sharing the spirit of music city with the coolest people on the planet. We love you northern Nevada!”
The Swan is still under internal construction, but will have a main concert hall as well as a VIP area.
Concerts have been booked for August on the "Soft Note Stage" from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and include:
- July 14, 21 and Aug. 4: Darren Senn
- July 15 and 22: Kingwhistler
- July 16: Jennifer Grant
- July 20, Aug. 3 and 31: Greg Gilmore
- July 27 and 28: Daryl Wayne Dasher
