Thursday Coffee Connections at Adams Hub features NLP trainer and body language expert
This Thursday's Coffee Connections features an interactive session, "The Unseen Language of Leadership: Is Your Body Language Helping or Hurting How You Lead" at The Studio at Adams Hub in Carson City.
NLP Trainer and body language expert Alexanne Stone is the guest speaker at the June 24 discussion, which begins at 9 a.m. at Adams Hub, 111 West Proctor Street in Carson City. The public is invited this and all Thursday Coffee Connections. The meetings and discussions are free.
Experts say that only 7 percent of your words make up your communication. With as much as 93 percent of your message being received at the unconscious level, what is your body telling people that your words are not? Is how you’re using your personal space, posture, physical gestures, facial expressions and even eye contact derailing your success?
Are you congruent with the message you're delivering or is your body language belying a lack of confidence, doubt, or something hidden? What unconscious message are you getting from your clients that we call “gut feeling”? And where does your voice fit into all of this too?
How do you move from the unconscious to the conscious level when it comes to your communication? Discover the power of body language and leadership. Make sure that what you have to say conveys what you truly mean. In this 45-minute interactive conversation, learn how to align your verbal and non-verbal communication to build stronger relationships, shape perceptions, and get leadership results!
