April gaming revenue up in Carson City, Lake Tahoe
Casinos in Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden and all other areas of Douglas County except for Stateline saw a “gaming win” of $8,604,715 for the month, up 6.06 percent.
Meanwhile casinos at Stateline on the south shore of Lake Tahoe and at North Lake Tahoe saw gaming revenue climb for the month. North Lake Tahoe reported nearly an 11 percent increase and Stateline casinos, 4.5 percent.
Reno saw a decrease of 4.8 percent and Sparks, a 4 percent increase.
Statewide, casinos report a 1.19 percent increase compared to April 16.
