Gang fight results in 14 arrests by Carson City Gangs Unit, Special Enforcement Team
A gang fight at an apartment complex last month resulted in the arrest of 14 juveniles and adults, according to the Carson City Sheriff's Office.
On April 27, 2024 Carson City Gang Unit and Carson City Special Enforcement Team conducted an investigation resulting in 14 felony arrests stemming from a fight at an apartment complex at 20 College Parkway.
Gang Unit and SET detectives learned that on April 26, 2024 an incident happened in Lyon County involving 2 rival gangs where a battery took place, according to the Carson City Sheriff's Office.
Later that night, several gang members from Lyon County and Douglas County responded to 20 College Parkway for retaliation.
They threatened the gang members and associates at 20 College Parkway and left to recruit more people to participate in the fight.
At approximately 2 a.m. on April 27, 2024 approximately 6 gang members from out of county returned and fought approximately 8 to 10 gang members/associates at 20 College Parkway.
During the fight a knife was presented and witnesses on scene also reported that one subject had a firearm.
Detectives reviewed video surveillance and conducted several interviews which lead to positive identification of 14 subjects actively involved in the fight.
Carson City Gangs/SET arrested 14 total (juveniles and adults) and they were charged with alleged challenging a fight with a deadly weapon.
All the juveniles were booked into the Carson City Juvenile Detention Center and the adults were booked into the Carson City Jail. Three adults, listed in the above photo are, Tobey Ahdunko, 21, Terry Kirkness, 18, and Rowdy Stafford, 18, were also booked.
