Carson Valley Medical Center sponsors 8 scoreboards at Douglas community center gym
GARDNERVILLE — The Douglas County Community & Senior Center and the Douglas County Community Services Foundation are very thankful for the exceptionally strong support that Carson Valley Medical Center has shown to the County with their renewed pledge to be the 2022 Naming Rights sponsor for all eight scoreboards in the Douglas County Community Center gymnasium located on Waterloo Lane in Gardnerville.
All youth, adults and their families who spend time in the gym for hundreds of healthy activities will see all eight scoreboards proudly sponsored by Carson Valley Medical Center with reminders for healthy lifestyle choices. Carson Valley Medical Center has sponsored the scoreboards and supported the programs at the Center since 2016.
Carson Valley Medical Center (is a comprehensive community healthcare system, providing high-quality healthcare close to home for the residents of Carson Valley and surrounding areas. The Douglas County Community Services Foundation was formed in 2011 to support community and senior centers in Douglas County at the lake and in the valley. The main emphasis was to support the construction of the new Douglas County Community & Senior Center and its ongoing equipment and facility needs. The Foundation is a non-profit 501(C)(3) corporation to provide funding for additional and ongoing improvements to the Community & Senior Center with the maximum amount of accountability. The Foundation also acts as a liaison between the government of Douglas County and private donors to maximize and meet private donor’s wishes.
