Carson City Rotarians tour Click Bond Inc., one of the largest employers in Carson City
Members of the Rotary Club of Carson City enjoyed a guided tour of one of the area’s largest employers this week; Click Bond Inc.
Founded in 1987, the company creates, designs and manufactures a vast assortment of products used in the aerospace and aviation industry.
It currently employs 350 people in Carson City.
Rotarian Joe Walls said the company’s involvement in those industries is impressive.
“Click Bond’s first product was a metal seal invented to stop leaks on airplane fuel tanks," said Walls. "Now the company provides numerous parts used in aviation, automotive, and marine vehicles. Click Bond’s products are used in F16 aircraft, SpaceX splashdown capsules, and on the Mars Rover. It was impressive to learn about this high-tech company in Carson City.”
Club President Rich Perry stated that, aside from being an economic asset to Carson City, Click Bond supports numerous community organizations and projects.
“Supporting community projects, especially those involving young people, is important to us as Rotarians," said Perry. "Click Bond does so much to benefit our community, and it was fascinating to see the work that helps them contribute so much.”
