Governor meets with Nevada's mayors to talk affordable housing, infrastructure improvements
CARSON CITY — In case you missed it, last week, the Office of Governor Joe Lombardo hosted 14 Nevada mayors with the League of Cities at the Nevada State Capitol to discuss key issues facing local government, including affordable housing, infrastructure improvement, and licensing reciprocity.
“We enjoyed welcoming mayors from across Nevada to Carson City,” said Gov. Joe Lombardo. “As my administration fights for affordable housing, improved state infrastructure, and reduced regulations, it’s critical that we engage local leaders for their invaluable input and counsel.”
“Mayors from the Nevada League of Cities were honored to join Lombardo Administration leadership at the Nevada State Capitol,” said Glen Leavitt, the Executive Director of the Nevada League of Cities. “Governor Lombardo’s steadfast commitment to engaging local government leadership is evident, and we look forward to partnering with his administration for the benefit of Nevadans across the state.”
