Carson City Chamber hosts reception for Governor Lombardo
On Monday, March 20, the Carson City Chamber held a welcome reception at Duke’s Steakhouse inside the Casino Fandango for Gov. Joe Lombardo to meet and greet Chamber business members.
Guests included Assemblyman PK O’Neill and his staff, representatives of two auto dealerships, non-profits, hospitality, education, and large and small business owners.
The governor greeted each personally by going from table-to-table shaking hands and posing for photos.
He later addressed the audience by stating unequivocally there will be no new business taxes which was a crowd-pleaser.
Hard-hit businesses are seemingly the go-to funding source whenever more funding is needed for anything. He thoroughly supports small businesses and though he is from Las Vegas, he understands the needs of the state outside of Clark County.
Before leaving, he personally thanked the Duke’s staff for their role in creating a first-class event and for providing excellent service.
When asked to pose for a photo, he was very accommodating. In the third photo, pictured from left: Alex Paradas, Adrian Sandoval, Lisa Lucidi, Elizabeth Mordhorst, Chris, Governor Joe Lombardo, Darryl Hinley, Sean Reddish, Assemblyman PK O’Neill, Betsy Huot.
