Hawthorne man in jail custody; accused of rape, kidnapping and home invasion in Carson City
UPDATE: A Hawthorne, Nev., man is in custody for a Carson City warrant alleging two counts of sexual assault, two counts kidnapping, home invasion and parole and probation violation.
Rahman Dontese Wallace, 50, was arrested in Red Bluff, Calif.
According to the criminal complaint filed by the Carson City District Attorney's Office, the alleged crimes were committed Feb. 27, 2022 in which Wallace kicked in the front door of the victim's residence and raped her and then sexually assaulted her again in a portable restroom at Mills Park.
The victim was also punched and struck in the head and face as the man raped her, according to the criminal complaint.
The suspect is also alleged to have kidnapped the victim and her 9-year-old daughter, forcing them to drive with him to Lyon County against their will, the complaint states.
Wallace is being held on $150,000 bail and currently has a no-bail hold in lieu of a parole and probation hearing.
