Carson City arrests: Woman booked having fraudulent credit cards, methamphetamine

A 47-year-old woman was arrested Thursday for suspicion of giving false identification to avoid prosecution, fraudulent possession of two credit cards and other alleged offenses, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.
Bridget White-Erickson, listed as a transient, was taken into custody following an investigation. She was also booked for a felony warrant that alleged parole violation and for suspicion of violation of parole and probation in the latest suspected crimes.
According to the booking report, a Carson City Sheriff's Office Special Enforcement Team detective conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. The SET detective advised to the arresting deputy that one of the women in the vehicle, a passenger, lied to him about her name. CCSO conducted a K9 sniff of the vehicle, where the dog, Remus, alerted positive for the presence of a controlled substance.
During the vehicle search deputies located 1.2 grams of suspected methamphetamine in a purse. Also located was a methamphetamine pipe hidden between the passenger seat and center console.
While searching under the front passenger seat, deputies located a small woman's wallet. Inside were several credit cards in various people's names, none of which were people in the vehicle. There were several cards with similar names to those of the suspect, Erickson-White, on the cards.
The woman admitted that one of the cards, a photo ID, had her photo on it, but in another woman's name. She admitted that was her in the photo and stated she had warrants for her arrest, the report states.
Dispatch confirmed Erickson-White had an active warrant out of Second Judicial District Court for parole aviation. She was arrested and book for being in possession of two or more credit/debit cards in other person's names and fraudulent possession of 2 credit cards, plus the parole violation warrant. No bail hold in lieu of hearing.
In other arrests:
— A 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested March 15 for suspicion of a second DUI and probation violation.
According to the booking report, a deputy observed a vehicle traveling a a high rate of speed, 50 mph in a posted 35 mph zone. The deputy attempted to catch up to the vehicle, where it turned onto Telegraph Street. The driver of the vehicle failed to make a complete stop at the stop sign at North Fall and Telegraph. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and spoke with the driver. The officer observed a 24-ounce can of Mickey's in the door cup holder.
The officer advised the driver to put his hands outside the car. The man did not comply with commands and he kept reaching inside the vehicle. The officer gave additional verbal commands where the suspect began to comply. While the officer was speaking to the suspect he could smell an odor of alcohol on his person. The man agreed to standardized field sobriety tests and showed signs of impairment on the tests. He provided a breath test of .301 and was arrested. Bail: $5,637.
— A 44-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday for suspected misdemeanor parole and probation violation. No bail hold in lieu of hearing.
—A 27-year-old man, Troy Paskert, was arrested Thursday, 3:33 a.m. in the 3200 block of Airport Road for suspicion felony possession of a controlled substance, two counts department of alternative sentencing violation and resisting/delaying/obstructing an officer. Bail amount listed: $6,912.
— 51-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Thursday for suspicion possession of drug paraphernalia and a court warrant for her arrest alleging possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail; $2,137.
— A 59-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday for a misdemeanor violation of suspended sentence warrant issued Feb. 14, 2023 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000 cash.
— A 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday for a misdemeanor warrant alleging violation of an extended protection order. Bail: $3,137.
— A 35-year-old man, Jaime John Portillo, was arrested Thursday for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and a violation of suspended sentence warrant. Bail: $3,000 cash.
