Carson City deputies arrest couple for having sex on a park bench
Just before 4 p.m., deputies were dispatched to Mills Park on report of a couple allegedly having sex on a park bench.
Upon arrival, deputies observed a woman, later identified as Jacqueline Stegeman, 33, and a man, later identified as Jeremy Bailey (age not listed), on a park bench. Bailey was performing oral sex on Stegeman and neither party heard deputies approach.
According to deputies, Bailey stated he was "kissing Jacqueline on the thighs" and Stegeman stated she had pain in her legs and Bailey was "helping her."
The reporting party stated they witnessed the couple performing numerous sex acts prior to deputies arriving and provided photographs.
Originally, only Stegeman was arrested for felony sexual acts in public, open and gross lewdness, and indecent exposure, while Bailey was initially released from the scene.
Deputies did not note why Bailey was not immediately arrested as well.
However, deputies stated that upon further review of statutes, they determined Bailey was also in violation of the sexual acts in public and gross lewdness. Deputies later arrested Bailey at his home.
Bail for Stegeman: $10,000
Bail for Bailey: Not listed
