Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of Feb. 15-21, 2021. There will be minor work at the roundabout on South Carson Street on Monday, Feb. 15. Northbound motorists will be detoured to Stewart Street and Fifth Street.

The South Carson Complete Streets Project broke ground on Feb. 20, 2020 and completed the roadway before Nevada Day in 2020. The landscaping will continue into the spring of 2021. Elsewhere, closures are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:

— Cochise Street will be closed near the intersection of Appion Way, Tuesday and Wednesday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm for utility work. Traffic will be detoured up Appion Way to Voltaire Street and Roland Street to ensure continued access to the commercial shopping area and nearby restaurants.
