Carson City arrests: Man jailed for breaking computer, printer and threatening hospital ER staff

A 23-year-old man was arrested Monday for suspicion of gross misdemeanor destruction of property and misdemeanor harassment following an incident at Carson Tahoe Hospital, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.
According to the booking report, a deputy was dispatched to the hospital for a report of subject in the emergency room destroying property. The man, who had checked into the hospital for treatment, became upset with staff and broke a computer and printer in the ER.
He then verbally threatened staff members with violence, which was recorded on the deputy's body camera. Bail: $2,750.
In other arrests:
— A 26-year-old Carson City man, Gene Anguiano-Rojas, was arrested for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (suspected cocaine), misdemeanor violation of bail release conditions and domestic battery. Bail: $5,500.
— A 29-year-old Fallon man, Kyle Cuthill, was arrested Monday for a felony outside agency warrant issued Jan. 17, 2023 out of Churchill County. Bail: $25,000.
— A man and woman were arrested Tuesday for alleged misdemeanor offenses following an investigation where a traffic stop was made on a vehicle with suspended registration.
According to the booking report, a deputy made a traffic stop at the intersection of East College Parkway in Carson City. The deputy spoke with the driver, who identified herself with a Nevada driver's license.
She could not provide registration or insurance, the booking report states. During a records check for the driver and male passenger, the deputy learned the driver had a failure to appear warrant out of Walker River Justice Court. The male passenger had a contempt of court warrant out of Carson City Justice Court. Both were arrested for the warrants. Dispatch also advised the man had also failed to register as an ex-felon.
The male passenger was booked into Carson City jail for the contempt of court warrant and being an ex-felon failing to register. Bail: $5,000 cash. The female driver was booked for the failure to appear warrant, suspended driver's license, no proof of insurance and suspended registration. Bail: $2,521.
