Ken Gray announces candidacy for Assembly District 39 representing Lyon, Douglas counties
DAYTON — Ken Gray announced Monday his candidacy for Nevada State Assembly District 39, currently held by Assemblyman Jim Wheeler, who is seeking a seat in the State Senate.
“I have a passion for serving the people of Nevada, and I believe I am best able to represent the conservative values of the residents of Assembly District 39,” said Gray. “I have served in our nation’s armed forces, as a Lyon County Commissioner, and I will continue to fight for America First ideals, keeping taxes low, protecting our Constitutional and Second Amendment rights, and standing up for and supporting law enforcement.”
Gray, endorsed by the term-limited incumbent, has a proven record of fighting for Nevada as a Lyon County Commissioner and an outspoken advocate who represents his constituent's voices regarding rural conservative values, putting America and Nevada first, defending our God-given rights, including the right to keep and bear arms and for free and fair elections.
Commissioner Gray has dedicated his life to fighting for the American way of life. He served our country for 26 years in the US Air Force where he achieved the highest enlisted rank attainable, Chief Master Sergeant. He and his wife, Kati, are proud to have raised two strong daughters who have already taken on their passions in service as well. His oldest, Katelyn, served in the US Navy, and Hannah, who is currently serving in the Nevada Army National Guard and as an ROTC student at the University of Nevada Reno.
