Explore the World presentation on Mexico at Carson City Library
Carson City Library will present Explore Mexico at Your Library on Thursday, November 15, at 6 p.m. in the library auditorium. Ria White will present this program as part of a bimonthly series of presentations by people from other countries or by those who have traveled to far-away places.
Ria, a Mexican-American and former Chicagoan, enjoys reading and world cultures. She will graciously present a brief history of Mexico and its cultural heritage.
Previous countries that have been explored through this popular series include Hong Kong, Nicaragua, England, Israel, Bolivia, Columbia, Vietnam, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Taiwan, the Azores, Portugal, Ecuador, Ethiopia, India, Afghanistan, Ireland, Tunisia, South Africa, New Zealand, Italy, Russia, China, Latvia, Guatemala, and Serbia.
