Beer and Pub Crawl this Saturday to benefit Carson City man who is battling cancer
Please come down to Telegraph Square, behind Battle Born restaurant, this Saturday, Sept. 30 to help out a local friend of Carson City who is battling Stage 4 Colon Cancer. Mark Linquist graduated from Carson High School in 1987 and still lives in the area.
Unfortunately, Mark was diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of this year after losing his wife 3 years ago from Pancreatic Cancer. Mark is raising his 2 teenage boys on his own. He works at Tesla as an electrician but due to ongoing treatment, Mark is struggling to keep up with his bills and fatherly duties.
A group of Mark's friends have got together and are putting on a Pub/Beer Crawl taking place in downtown Carson between the hours of 1 pm and 7 pm. There will be entertainment, drinks and friends all offered with all proceeds going to the Linquist Family.
Please find it in your hearts to come on down and enjoy the festivities while helping a great man and his family out.
Donations can also be made to the Mark Linquist Family GoFundMe account here.
Hope to see you there.
