Tom Miller appearing Monday on The Brother Dan Show at Carson City's Bank Saloon
The Bank Saloon proudly hosts The Brother Dan Show every Monday. The local music livestream features interviews and music with local musicians and songwriters. This week the show will feature Tom Miller, a long-time regular veteran of the Northern Nevada music scene.
Miller began playing woodwinds as a child, and his first professional gigs were in small clubs around Lake Tahoe. His professional resume includes twenty years performing on the Tahoe Dixie, until 2016. Carson City audiences may recognize him from his more recent appearances at Sassafras in Carson City.
Along with his guitar, saxophone and flute playing skills, Miller holds a degree in guitar building, and plays his own custom-made guitars.
The Brother Dan Show Show offers audiences a chance to get to know a wide variety of skilled musical artists, as they improvise and make music together, often for the first time, and welcomes a live studio audience.
The music starts at 4:30 for final technical checks, and goes live online at 5:00pm on the host’s Facebook page: Brother Dan Palmer. In person, attendees can enjoy free munchies from local restaurant Mangia Tutto during the show, along with a great selection of craft cocktails.
The Bank Saloon is located at 418 S. Carson St. in Carson City and offers a weekly line-up of entertainment, including The Brother Dan Show on Mondays, plus a selection of local musical acts on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
