Race for Life Carson City BMX event Sunday to benefit Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Carson City BMX hosting the annual Race for Life. USABMX started this race/fundraising effort to honor Todd Kingsbury, a young BMX rider who fought and lost his fight with leukemia.
This race raises money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Additionally, keeping with Todd’s love for BMX, promoting this race where you do not have to be a USABMX member. So please join us on 10 Sept. 2023, signups 9-10 am. Cost is $10. If under 18, please bring a parent to sign forms.
Rider should be wearing long pants, long sleeve shirt and tennis shoes. Helmet a must (we do have loaners). Bike should not have any reflectors sticking out, chain guard need to be removed, no training wheels, no pegs. For Parents: Riders can wear additional gear, i.e. elbow pads, knee pads, etc.
Gloves are recommended. And not forgetting the little ones, CCBMX has a Strider (push/balance bike) track for you too but some prefer racing on the big track.
