Carson City's Catmandu introduces their Cat of the Week: Murray
If you're looking for a handsome, affectionate kitty that gets along with people and other cats, Murray’s your guy!
The vet guessed him to be about a year old. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and waiting for his forever home.
Let’s hear from Murray: “Hi there! Some nice people saved me from Death Row at a high kill shelter. I am very happy to have a second chance at life and I’m making the most of it. I love to play but I also like being petted and once I get to know you, I may even let you rub my belly. I am a bit shy with strangers, but if you give me a chance I know we will become best friends forever.”
Murray would probably do best in a quieter home without small children or noisy dogs. It takes him a minute to adjust to new situations and surroundings, but once he’s comfortable there is no better kitty. I know you will fall in love with Murray.
To meet Murray and all the kitties at Catmandu, please visit us Friday - Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1829 Brown Street.
Catmandu is a cage-free non-profit cat sanctuary and rescue. Since opening in 2014, Catmandu has helped more than 2300 cats and kittens find a better life. Most of them come from disadvantaged backgrounds. They are strays, feral born, or abandoned. Catmandu needs the support of our community to stay open.
